Will careerstelle invent experience to fit the job?
No. Suggestions only reword or reorder what is already in your CV, each one links back to the original text, and achievements that can't be verified are flagged. Nothing reaches your exported CV until you accept it.
Does it work for a resume as well as a CV?
Yes. Upload whichever you have; the tailoring works the same way. Preview and export in A4 or US Letter, depending on where you're applying.
Which files can I upload?
PDF or Word (.docx), up to 10 MB and 20 pages. The PDF needs selectable text: scanned images can't be read yet. You can paste the job description or upload it as a file.
Are the templates ATS-friendly?
All three templates use a single column, standard section headings, selectable text and a reading order that matches the layout, which is what applicant tracking systems parse most reliably. No tool can promise how a particular employer's system will rank you.
What does the match score mean?
It shows how many of the job's requirements your CV gives evidence for, with every match explained. It is an approximate measure of coverage, not a prediction of any employer's decision.
Is my CV used to train AI?
No. Your CV is sent to our AI provider only to produce the suggestions you ask for. You can download or delete all of your data from Settings at any time.
